Task Two – Designing the Suite

In this task, I am going to elaborate on the three final ideas of why my posts are suitable for the channel, how they will appeal to the target and what time of day/year they are designed for.  

In this Task my theme would be based on the weather forecast. The reason why I have chosen this theme is because it is entertaining, therefore it will engage and interest the audience in watching this. additionally, this theme is not only appealing, fun but however it very educative because it will teach the viewers about the weather. Therefore this will mean that my ident will be able to gain a lot of audiences because it unlocks keys of learning things in a different ways therefore people would be interested in viewing my ident. Also, at the bottom I would going through my 3 ident design suite and I would explain why I chose it and the benefits of my idents:

This is my first ident which I think i'm more like to do because it is much easier to create and it has more movement and things that will appeal entertaining for the viewer. furthermore the story line for this is more explained and it contains more vibrant colours. firstly, with this ident I would have a cloud that is shot on it own, as he is lonely, then we will see slowly how he get joined by two friends which changes the mood the cloud and if the viewers are watching this they before watching this they may be in a bad mood but when they take a look at what's happening in this scene this will change their mood. Also we will see how the cloud and his two friends are having fun and then when he smiles he starts raining. The rain would signify happiness and when the viewers take a look at what's going on they would feel happy and they will have fun taking a look at this because they would feel entertained by what's taking place in the ident. When it's raining we would see the cbeebies logo coming in from the side, which would shows the viewers the name of the channel they are watching. Additionally, this would mean that the viewer would stay in tune of that television programme because they saw something that interested them. Also, this will appeal to the target audience because, this ident uses a set of appealing colours which will catch the eyes of many kids. Also, as it will be shown on the channel, it also will be appealing as it keeps up with the summer season. 

There are so many causes that my ident will be good for cbeebies because it meets specific regulations, therefore it doesn’t breaks any regulations that been made by the ASA. Also, this ident does not plagiarise any other ident that has been shown on cbeebies. Also, the ident content doesn’t show any inappropriate images that will traumatise the viewers and make the audience get influence in a negative way. Also, the ident has been personalised to be on the cbeebies channel because we see the cloudy blobs having fun and having the cbeebies logo appear afterward. Furthermore my ident appeals to the specific target audience as it is simple and does not contain things that seems very complicated for the audience to understand and it looks attractive and have things running around which is fun for the audiences. 

The second Ident is a bit similar to the first but this time it has more vibrant colours that would appeal to the audience that watches this ident. Also, this is has a different type of story line behind it compared to what the first ident had. firstly, we would see a cloud by himself and then later on we see the sun come to join him would change the mood of the cloud because it will mean that the cloud would not be left alone. This can relate to the cbeebies viewer because they would have that idea that when ever they are sad there would always someone there to be there to cheer them up. Therefore, this ident would interest the viewers. Later on we see how the sun shine light becomes brighter and the more brighter it becomes the more happy the cloud becomes and each time the sun get brighter we see how the cbeebies sign starts appearing from the sides one by one, this will entertain the audience and influence them to watch things that is happening in the ident. Also we see how the ident has a cool glasses which will make the viewers laugh and stay engaged in what is being shown on TV. In this Ident we could easily tell what season the ident is representing therefore the audience would be able to tell what season they are in.

In this ident suite I was thinking to change things up for the viewers. I was able to make this link to the christmas period because I thought this would bring a different type of vibe on the audience and also the christmas period is where most everyone is looking forward to as it been put in as a special period. so I was thinking to have the cloud to be happy and have a friend that joins him because the christmas period is based on being with families and spending quality time with someone.  Also, i was able to make the clouds have little christmas hat to signify what session period they are in therefore the viewers would be engaged and be able to relate with what is taking place in the ident. Also we see how the ident would be playng about and the more they play the more snow flakes they let off. this is done to entertain the viewers and educate the viewers about things that takes place in christmas period. Also this time we will see the cbeebies ident coming from the sides.
